New: The Turner and Velma Sims Scholarship is a $250 scholarship awarded to one senior from Northview Academy who has an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher and has contributed to their community through service. Students who apply should attach a current transcript and an activity sheet listing their community service hours. The application is attached and is due May 3, 2024. New: Scholarship opportunity for students who may be interested in the Culinary Program at Walters State. US Foods is now accepting applications for its 2024 US Foods Scholars program through May 13. These individual 18 $20,000 exclusive scholarships are available to interested culinary or hospitality students. New: The Tennessee School of Beauty is offering a scholarship for one high school senior who is interested in a career in cosmetology who has not participated in the high school cosmetology program. Applications are available in the guidance office.
Farm Bureau: The Sevier County Farm Bureau is offering three scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a degree in agriculture. We are excited to announce the board of directors have approved a total of $15,000, to be awarded to a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place recipient. 1st place will receive $7500, 2nd place will receive $5000, and 3rd place will receive $2500. All applications are judged by a panel outside the county. Please give the attached application to all graduating seniors who will be majoring in any agriculture related field. New: Mary Layne Van Cleave Achievement Award: This award is for high school students who have demonstrated interest in pursuing a healthcare profession. Applicants can be HOSA, SkillsUSA or CTE students. We are offering 17 - $2000 scholarships to HOSA, SkillsUSA or CTE students. Application deadline is May 5th. Mary Van Cleave Scholarship
