The UT Promise Application is NOW OPEN!

UT Promise is a last-dollar scholarship that covers tuition and mandatory fees for eligible Tennessee residents planning to attend UT campuses in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pulaski, Martin, and Memphis. This innovative scholarship is available to students who qualify for the Tennessee HOPE scholarship and whose adjusted gross income is under $75,000 or less and total assets under $75,000. UT Promise guarantees a minimum $500 award per semester for qualifying students.

Eligible students include graduating high school seniors, transfer students, and nontraditional students. Only current high school seniors entering UT as first-time freshmen are eligible to apply through TNAchieves; current college students must apply through UT. Please visit the University of Tennessee's website for additional details and to find out if you are eligible!

TN College Application Wavier Fees & TN Promise Community Service Opportunities

Important Dates

Volunteer and Community Service Opportunity

The Senior Beta Club's at Northview Academy and Seymour High School are partnering together to give back to our community and honor our veterans! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ You do not have to be a member of Senior Beta to attend this service event!

πŸ“ Location: East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery – John Sevier Highway
πŸ“… Flag Placement: Saturday, November 8th at 9:00 AM
πŸ“… Flag Removal: Saturday, November 15th at 9:00 AM

Volunteers will be provided small American flags to place at each gravesite on November 8th. On November 15th, we’ll return to help remove them. This is a simple and meaningful way to serve — and with more students joining in, the process will be even smoother and quicker.

We’re hoping Northview and Seymour can come together and bring around 15–20 students to help out at the John Sevier location. If you’re interested in helping, please email ryleighmartin@sevier.org so we can give the organizers a count of volunteers.

Let’s show our gratitude and school spirit by helping with this special project! πŸ’›πŸ’š

Student Resume

This is an excellent time of the year to begin developing your resume and preparing for future opportunities!

A student resume is a simple way to show your achievements, activities, volunteer work, and skills all in one place. Even if you haven’t had a job yet, your resume highlights what makes you unique and helps colleges, scholarships, or employers see your strengths. A resume is important for everyone... not just students going to college. It’s also a great tool for applying to jobs, internships, or other opportunities after high school!

To make this process easier, we have a template for you. We encourage everyone to fill it out, no matter your future plans. You can also find more resume templates on Canva and Google Documents. You can even make it more personal by adding pictures of yourself participating in hobbies, playing sports, or volunteering in the community. This way, your resume truly shows who you are both inside and outside of school!

You can find your copy of the template under Classwork, under the topic "Student Resume Template."
