Important Dates
PSAT Test
The PSAT is on Friday, October 24th. The PSAT is a practice SAT test and your score could qualify you to be a National Merit Scholar.
*The last day to sign up is September 26th*
ASVAB Test
The ASVAB test will be available for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students at school on Friday, November 14, 2025. You can sign-up to take this test in the guidance office!

If you’re aiming for scholarships, college admission, or just want to improve your score, upcoming ACT test dates are right around the corner, and a few extra points can make a huge difference in your future opportunities. These testing opportunities are offered at Sevier County High School and Pigeon Forge High School on Saturday's!
NSA juniors will be offered a free test at Northview Senior Academy during the Spring semester! Please see the attached document for Saturday opportunities!

Volunteer Opportunity!
The Senior Beta Club's at Northview Academy and Seymour High School are partnering together to give back to our community and honor our veterans! πΊπΈ You do not have to be a member of Senior Beta to attend this service event!

Flag Placement: Saturday, November 8th at 9:00 AM

Flag Removal: Saturday, November 15th at 9:00 AM
Volunteers will be provided small American flags to place at each gravesite on November 8th. On November 15th, we’ll return to help remove them. This is a simple and meaningful way to serve — and with more students joining in, the process will be even smoother and quicker.
We’re hoping Northview and Seymour can come together and bring around 15–20 students to help out at the John Sevier location. If you’re interested in helping, please email ryleighmartin@sevier.org so we can give the organizers a count of volunteers.

Student Resume
It’s never too early to begin building your resume and getting ready for what’s next after high school!
A student resume is a simple way to show your achievements, activities, volunteer work, and skills all in one place. Even if you haven’t had a job yet, your resume highlights what makes you unique and helps colleges, scholarships, or employers see your strengths. A resume is important for everyone... not just students going to college. It’s also a great tool for applying to jobs, internships, or other opportunities after high school!
To make this process easier, we have a template for you. We encourage everyone to fill it out, no matter your future plans. You can also find more resume templates on Canva and Google Documents. You can even make it more personal by adding pictures of yourself participating in hobbies, playing sports, or volunteering in the community. This way, your resume truly shows who you are both inside and outside of school!
