Cougar Communication Sept. 14-18

 

Week At A Glance/Lunch Menu:

  • Monday (9/14): Lunch: Hot Dogs, Chili, Tater Tots, Coleslaw

    • Voter Registration at Lunch

  • Tuesday (9/15): Lunch: Chicken Tenders, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli, Rolls

  • Wednesday (9/16): Lunch:  Spaghetti, Texas Toast, Green Beans, Salad

  • Thursday (9/17): Lunch: Turkey or Ham Sandwiches, Baked Beans

    • End of the 6 Weeks!

  • Friday (9/18): Lunch: Bosco Sticks (Cheese and Pepperoni), Green Beans, Salad

*Salads & Smart Mouth Pizza available daily. Menu subject to change

**Lunch is no longer free for all students. Please complete the Online Free & Reduced School Meals Application or complete the paper copy sent home. 


Celebrations:

  • Karoline Wallis and Khale Burditt finished 2nd at the County Golf Match!

  • Congrats to the Northview Volleyball team for a big win over GP. The JV won 2-1 and the Varsity 3-0! Great work!

  • We had several Northview students win at the Sevier County Fair! Yoselin Luna placed 1st in nail art and 2nd in formal hair styling!  Iris Wombles winning best in show with her 3D art! For the Educational Board, Abigail Reynolds and Chaz Stretch won 1st place, Brady Shepherd and Xavier Pierce won 2nd place, Carter Kilgore and Russell Storm earned 3rd place and Aidan Chandler earned 4th place. For the Financial Literacy Board, Ava Parker earned 3rd and Manav Patel earned 4th. In Advertising, Cash Clapp won 1st, Logan Gossard 2nd, Jonathan Ogle 3rd and Joshua Brown 4th!

  • FFA had many 1st place finishes at the Sevier County Fair. 


Planning Ahead:

  • The end of the 1st 6 weeks is Sept. 17 (This week). Be sure you are checking your student’s grades on Skyward. If you need help accessing Skyward, email maggieyoakum@sevier.org. 

  • Senior ACT ReTake Day is September 30. Don’t forget ACT Tutoring is available Monday mornings from 7:00-7:40am in Mrs. Kristy Smith’s Room!

  • Fall Break is October 12-16, 2026

  • Sept. 14: Volleyball vs. Fulton (Home)

  • Sept. 15: Cross Country (Home) at Optimist Park 5:20pm, Soccer vs GP (Home) at 6:30pm, Volleyball at Austin East (Away)

  • Sept. 17: Soccer at Cosby (Away) 6:30pm, Volleyball vs. Seymour (Home)

  • Sept. 18: Football at Grainger (Away) 7:30pm

  • Sept. 19: Band Competition at Sevier County at 3:20pm, Cross Country at the Mounds 9:00am
